Positive: Paper thin walls... Inconsiderate lodgers.. Noisy all night.. Negative: Paper thin walls... Noisy all night.. Inconsiderste lodgers.. No comms from owners.. Arrogant attitude because of high demand..

Very basic accommodation but perfectly acceptable Positive: It is Nome after all, and not a luxury resort. It had everything I needed for a two-night stay. Except for a few minutes right when I was checking in (someone nearby was breaking up wooden crates with a sledgehammer), it was pretty quiet. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again. Negative: I used to live in Alaska so knew what to expect, but some people might not like that the streets around the location are not paved. That's going to be an issue almost anywhere in Nome, though.

Melissa and Jennifer are amazing hosts! The rooms are immaculate and so comfortable, the WiFi is fast and the sheets are top notch!

My daughter and I have to travel through Nome to get to Anchorage often and this is our favorite spot to stay! It's homey, quiet, and has everything you need--bed, TV, couch, dining table, stove/oven, microwave, and last but definitely not least, a keurig. It's right downtown so it's right down the road from from Aurora Inn, where there's a coffee shop, as well as all the downtown restaurants (Subway, Milano's, Polar, etc.). It's also walking distance to the beach (Nome has some of the best beachcombing!).
